Every Road Worker is a protector.

Behind the hi-vis, cones and lane closures are parents, friends, neighbours; people - with someone waiting for them at home and an important job to do. They are keeping you, their teams and those around them safe.

Too often, lives are cut short, and families changed forever, by drivers who only see an inconvenience, not what’s at stake.

So on November 9, we remember them - those we’ve lost, those injured, and those still out there keeping our roads safe. Everyday heroes with their lives on the line.

Slow down. Pay attention. Look beyond the hi-vis.
SEE the people working to protect all of us, and remember it’s up to us all to make sure everyone gets home safe.

Because every life lost is one too many. Together, we can make sure every road worker makes it home.
