Roxby Downs

Road safety is a critical issue within the Roxby Downs Community because of the amount of time residents necessarily have to spend on the road on account of living remotely. Roxby Downs Council is hosting a road safety workshop at the Roxby Community Hub to promote safer driver practices.

 The workshop will include presentations from SAPOL on driving risks in remote/regional areas and road safety policing, and the story of the family of a local road crash survivor relating the trauma and tragedy of their lived experience.  

 A morning tea will follow the workshop. Attendees will also be invited to sign the “Drive So Others Survive” Pledge.
